The APHL enjoyed attending and presenting at BPK Research Day 2026.
Sarra presented a new core outcome set for randomized controlled trials of physical activity interventions that aim to improve the health of older adults.
The core outcome set was generated via a multi-round, online, modified Delphi survey that was completed by a multidisciplinary expert panel comprised of physical activity researchers, health care professionals, and older adults. This was research that Sarra conducted for her MSc thesis.
Chelsea presented the protocol for a new scoping review about the impacts of group-based physical activity on social health of older adults. This work will form part of her MSc thesis.
Sarra earned 1st place and Chelsea 2nd place in the MSc poster competition. Well done to both!
